let's begin with this

The concept of a white T design has been rattling around in my head in one way or another for nearly a decade.  It had been put on paper in the form of various sketches, layouts, idea boards and journals, only to be rejected by the "voice of reason" for more pragmatic or altruistic concerns, i.e., raising a family, charitable acts including event planning, fundraising, school volunteering, and even nursing.  So why is now a good time to start this business in the face of a 3 1/2 year economic recession? (let's face it, depression)  The answer is quite simple, but it took me 10 years to come to it.

Great design can improve your life.

That simple phrase is the foundation of white T design.  Design being not only what makes things beautiful or pleasant to look upon, but how our lives are improved by designed order and simple comfort.  Simply stated, there is a good reason we don't live in caves anymore. While we need shelter to survive, we also need light and space in order to grow.  The presence of well-defined and ordered space is as essential to life as air and water.  We need it.  Take for example, Apple. The driving force behind their success is the idea of changing the world; by improving the lives of others through products conceived for their ingenuity and higher purpose in design.

At white T design, my purpose is simple and straightforward; to improve people's lives with simple beauty, comfort and style.  No project is ever too insignificant or small. It's scale and impact is evidenced by the positive outcome for the client; how it impacts their life by bringing beauty and comfort to their surroundings.

So there you have it, the reason why I have decided to begin this process, and the business of white T design.  I hope you will join me on this journey, and allow my esthetic and design style to be a part of your lives.
